# Payload over 64K

I noticed an issue about this posted in the discourse channel.

"it splits large(over 64K) payload messages into multiple. this causes end-to-end encryption fail".

It would be good to know if this has since been resolved.. or if this is a constraint that needs to be worked around at the app layer.

I believe it’s been addressed. Shouldn’t be a problem. I haven’t seen any issues around huge payloads for a very long time
