# Recommended hypervisor to build a VM network with OpenZiti, Zrok etc

Hello,  
Is there a specific open source hypervisor thats recommended to use to host clusters with openziti project on? like proxmox, opennebula etc.

Hi @SEC, welcome to the community and to OpenZiti!

There's no hypervisor per-se that I know of. You setup your controller and routers wherever, and however you like, using whatever hypervisor tech you want to. The controller can emit metrics and logs which you can then ship to some aggregator/visualizer of your choice.
