After Upgrade Router Identity not online

Hey guys,

i was upgrading from 1.1.16 to 1.4.3 and after that, the Router Identity is not online.

Routers:

It seems everything is working but before the Identity was online.

Any suggestions?

Just noticed same. I upgraded from 1.1.15 (deb packages).

I also needed to add

  • trustDomain to controller conf
  • allow low ports on controller and routers (net.ipv4.ip_unprivileged_port_start = 0) only after that I was able to start those with systemd

Edit: for me I see routers online in Routers view, but in Identities view routers shows old version and one (of four) is offline even it's up& running

Still have some odd problems but check those after lunch😃

Okay, now everything works for me but if I look routers from Identities view those are all offline and show wrong version.

But if I check Routers view all are online

Controller and ZAC version below and all routers are in version 1.4.3 (all installed from deb package).

I expect this is something that will need to change with the ZAC. It's not uncommon for the UI to end up with subtle issues like this when we are changing things in the controller.

I find that I personally never look at nor rely on the identity page for my routers since it's the router itself that's the vital piece of the puzzle. I'll point other members of the team here and we'll come up with something. I have the same behavior for what it's worth. I don't believe it's something to be concerned about, but it'd be good for the identity to be more accurately depicted.
