Following the ziti router as lan gateway example

@rcsoleng thanks for the follow up. Just so that I understand correctly, now that my router is up and running what change I need to do on clients who are not “ziti-aware”? I might have missed that step somewhere in the video, but do I need to create a static route on clients pointing to router?

Yes, if your clients are not ziti aware, then your local lan needs to be configured to route the traffic to your local Ziti Edge Router to reach services over Ziti Network, i.e. static route.

Thank you for the reply @dariuszSki

If you want to build hostname intercept based services you will also need to have the ziti-router’s “resolver ip” as the first DNS resolver on your non ziti client.
