Could you please explain how we can use multiple data plane connections?
This is an opt-in configuration change to the embedded OpenZiti client in zrok. In order for it to function it requires OpenZiti 1.6.6 or newer. When enabled, the ziti client will utilize 2 separate data plane connections for redundancy and performance reasons, and will also separate control plane communication with ziti onto a separate connection. It also (necessarily) changes the flow control configuration for communicating with ziti.
When disabled, the ziti client in zrok uses a single connection to ziti for both data movement and the control plane.
It’s entirely transparent to end users, other than potentially changing the reliability and/or performance of zrok. This feature will be going away at some point in the near/medium future when this new configuration just becomes the default.
