Is the hosted zrok Free plan suitable for a small team's internal business testing?

Hello zrok team,

I am evaluating the hosted zrok Free plan for a web-based e-commerce content tool. The initial users would be me and a few internal colleagues. We would test the tool for business-related work and may use it internally later.

Our budget is USD 0, and we cannot add a credit card or any other payment method.

Could you please clarify:

  1. Is this kind of small-team, business-related testing or internal use permitted on the hosted Free plan? Where can we find the applicable terms?
  2. Can we reserve a custom-named, persistent public HTTPS address on the Free plan without adding a payment method?
  3. Can authorized colleagues access the web app directly in a normal browser, without installing zrok? Can access be restricted to approved users on the Free plan?
  4. Are there any mandatory charges, usage limits, or restrictions we should consider for this use case?
  5. Are there known restrictions on accessing hosted zrok shares from mainland China or other countries?

We would appreciate clarification before signing up or exposing any local service.

Thank you!

yes. See Self Service Subscriptions Agreement - NetFoundry

Yes. See Reserved names and namespaces | NetFoundry Documentation

See OAuth public frontend | NetFoundry Documentation

See limits listed here: zrok Pricing — Free Zero Trust Sharing, No Card Required

You can review the terms of service above and I recommend youtest your scenario before rolling it out.

Just following up here to let you know in case you haven't seen.. Please follow that thread for updates

Hi. Just following up here too. I made this post on the pinned topic but just FYI here to make sure I cover all the bases... [duplicating the summary of that post here follows]

If you had stuck sessions that cannot be deleted, I'm told you should now be able to delete them on your own again. I don't have any I can test myself personally but if someone does and if they could post a follow-up here with success (or failure but let's hope not) that would be appreciated.

Thanks again for reporting the issues and bearing with us while we make zrok better!
