Welcome to OpenZiti's Community!

OpenZiti was created and is actively maintained by NetFoundry Inc. This community represents our continued dedication to open source software. We have worked hard to create a secure, zero trust overlay network, and we want to share this software with the world! Here you will get support from our staff as well as from other community members/volunteers from around the world. Bring your discussions here! Let's talk about usage questions, feature requests, or even just drop a line saying how you found and use OpenZiti.

While NetFoundry is committed to our open source community, OpenZiti is not limited to only community support. NetFoundry also sells and maintains the world’s leading zero trust native networking products based on OpenZiti. With a network managed by NetFoundry you get:

  • Enterprise support (24x7) and SLAs (up to 99.95%)
  • An OpenZiti overlay network managed and maintained by our world-class engineers
  • Cloud-based, air-gapped or on-prem deployment options (including FIPS compliance)
  • Enterprise and OEM functionality (including white-label options)
  • Massive scale (billions of sessions per month)
  • Certifications and compliance
  • Third-party integrations
  • NetFoundry patented software

So is this message board built ON TOP OF openziti, or is it standard to openziti? It’s pretty slick.

 no, this is just “discourse” (not to be confused with Discord, but it happens all the time). It’s an open source project with hosted options and they support other open source projects by providing an instance for free, which is great!

But it needs to be public so that members of the community can interact with the project maintainers. Also it’s indexable by the big search engines, that’s another important aspect of why we chose it.

Oh yeah. I think I heard of them before there was discord but kinda forgot it existed! What’s that say about our society?

 One of the founders of Stack Overflow made Discourse (Jeff Atwood). He seems to have a way with this sort of site.

Good luck with zrok, we look forward to other feedback. I hope you don’t have any other goofy errors like the one you had! Cheers

Oh yeah. I’ve used stack overflow. Thank you for the help again. Sometimes just walking through it makes technology magically work.
