How can I distribute the app outside of Mac App Store？

I want to use Developer ID provisioning profile to distribute Ziti Desktop Edge. But VPN can't start.
it has a error when tps.startTunnel(), The VPN session failed because an internal error occurred.

I noticed that the installation packages available for macOS need to be changed from "packet tunnel provider"to"packet tunnel-provider-systemextension"

After using the - systemextension, the buttons on the page cannot be turned on and always display "Turn Ziti Off"

This is a more significant effort than just rebuilding the Ziti Desktop Edge. We're starting to get more requests for this, and will revisit, but we currently don't have an effort in progress to support this.
